Introduced Bill amending the Personal Information Protection Act regulating the protection of biometric information (Bill No 2120106)

On 20 February 2023, Bill number 2120106 was introduced in the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea (ROK), proposing new regulations for the protection of biometric data due to the increased use of identification technology, including facial recognition.
