Canada: Implemented Manitoba ban of TikTok in provincial government-issued mobile devices

On 6 March 2023, the Provincial Government Of Manitoba implemented a ban on the TikTok application by ordering its removal from government-issued mobile devices. The decision was adopted over concerns on data collection methods and on the level of security and privacy risk presented by TikTok on mobile devices.
