Implemented Order on Prohibiting the Use of TikTok on State IT Infrastructure

On 16 December 2022, the Governor of the state of Montana issued an Executive Order banning the use of TikTok on state IT infrastructure and networks. The application is required to be uninstalled, and access through a state network to the application must be blocked. Additionally, any contractors or partners working with the State of Montana will be required to comply with the ban. The Executive Order entered into force on the same day.
