Adopted Cybersecurity Directive concerning Prohibited and High-Risk Software on State Provided or Managed Devices

On 22 December 2022, the Treasurer of the state of Pennsylvania issued an order banning TikTok on Treasury IT infrastructure and networks. The Treasurer stated that an internal review found that TikTok had not been used on Treasury devices. Finally, the Order specifies that the Treasury's firewall blocks access to the Tiktok app and website from the Treasury network.
