United States of America: Published Cybersecurity Framework Implementation Guide for the Healthcare Sector

On 8 March 2023, the US Department of Health and Human Services published a document entitled "Cybersecurity Framework Implementation Guide", aiming to help the private healthcare sector to align its cybersecurity management programs with the standards set out in the National Institute of Standards and Technology Cybersecurity Framework in order to and improve their level of cyber resiliency. In particular, the guidance provides a step-by-step approach for organisations to determine their cybersecurity goals, assess their current cybersecurity practices and identify gaps for remediation.
