Signed Executive Order 22-10 Prohibiting the Use of TikTok on State-Owned Devices and Networks

On 28 December 2022, the Governor of the State of Kansas signed Executive Order 22-10 Prohibiting the Use of TikTok on State-Owned Devices and Networks. In particular, no employee or contractor may access TikTok on state networks. The Office of Information Technology Services (OTIS) will impose restrictions on state networks to hinder access to TikTok. Employees and state agencies have 30 days from the date of this Order to implement the ban.
