Opened consultation on Draft Telecommunications Law including licensing requirements

On 27 October 2022, the draft Telecommunications Law was submitted to public consultation until 27 December 2022. For telecom service providers, the licenses required will be two-fold; licenses for individual service providers based on specific management objectives at the time of application and group licenses for service providers that fulfill the licensing objectives. Additionally, for foreign telecom service providers with Vietnamese users, the services offered must be conducted with a local licensed company through a commercial agreement.
