Denmark: Implemented Amendment of Executive Order on Data Deletion Requirements in Research

On 1 January 2023, an Amendment of the Executive Order no. 1509 of 18 December 2019 on the disclosure of personal data based on the Data Protection Act was implemented. The amendment updates the rules governing the management of data used for scientific or statistical purposes after the expiry of such purposes, including possible methods for deidentification or archiving.
