China: Signed China-Philippines e-Commerce memorandum of understanding including cybersecurity requirement

On 5 January 2022, China and the Philippines signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on electronic commerce (e-commerce). The MoU aims to promote the e-commerce sector through increased cooperation. In particular, the MoU aims to facilitate sharing experiences and best practices in e-commerce between businesses on recommended cybersecurity standards.
