Introduced Digital Fair Repair Act (A7006-B)

On 19 April 2021, the Digital Fair Repair Act (A7006-B) was introduced in the New York State Assembly. The Bill is the Assembly version of Senate Bill 4104-A. The proposed Act would require manufacturers to provide all diagnostic and repair information and parts provided to authorised repair providers to the general public and independent repair providers.
