Signed China-Saudi Arabia Strategic Partnership for Digital Economy Cooperation

On 9 December 2022, the governments of China and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia signed an agreement for a strategic partnership for cooperation in the digital economy. The agreement establishes a cooperation framework between both countries on areas such as the digital economy, communications and information technology, emerging technologies, mobile communications infrastructure, and digital entrepreneurship. The agreement notably covers cooperation between both countries on artificial intelligence, advanced computing and quantum information technology, robots and smart equipment, and technologies and applications for industrial and commercial purposes.
