Announced UK and Ukraine Digital Trade Agreement including including standards relating to artificial intelligence

On 30 November 2022, the United Kingdom and Ukraine announced that they had reached an agreement in principle on Digital Trade (DTA). The DTA includes provisions to enable the responsible use of new technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI). In particular, the countries commit to following international standards on AI to mitigate potential risks and enable its neutrality and technological interoperability.
