Announced UK and Ukraine Digital Trade Agreement including consumer protection regulation

On 30 November 2022, the United Kingdom and Ukraine announced that they had reached an agreement in principle on Digital Trade (DTA). In particular, the DTA outlines consumer protection measures. The countries will implement regulations to protect consumers from deceptive, unfair and fraudulent practices. Furthermore, regulations will be adopted to ensure that spam or junk mail can be removed and commercial messages are labelled.
