Published METI Guidelines for Cyber and Physical Security Measures for Factory Systems
On 16 November 2022, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan (METI) published the “Guidelines for Cyber and Physical Security Measures for Factory Systems" (Ver 1.0). The Guidelines outline security measures for factories in order to ensure the mitigation of risks related to cyberattacks in view of the increased use in factories of connected systems and devices, such as IoT devices and cloud services.
