Published 2023-2024 Regulatory Agenda of Brazilian National Data Protection Authority

On 3 November 2022, the Brazilian National Data Protection Authority (ANDP) published its Regulatory Agenda for 2023-2024. The Agenda outlines 20 initiatives which are classified in three phases according to their order of importance. The Agenda notably covers, among others, the following issues: regulation of administrative sanctions by the ANDP; regulation of data subject rights and international transfer of information under the Data Protection Law; artificial intelligence; sensitive and biometric data; and processing of minors’ data.
