United States of America: Introduced Prioritizing National Security in Export Controls Act of 2022

On 28 October 2022, the Prioritizing National Security in Export Controls Act of 2022 (HR 9241), was introduced in the US House of Representatives. The Act proposes transferring the responsibility for export controls from the Bureau of Industry and Security of the Department of Commerce to the Defense Technology and Security Administration of the Department of Defense.
