Launched inquiry into international data transfers by German data protection authorities

The German state-level data protection authorities launch a coordinated inquiry into cross-border data transfers outside the EU to enforce the CJEU-Schrems II decision invalidating the US-EU Privacy Shield. The authorities will approach companies with a set of questions on data transfers, hosting, webtracking and internal data sharing.
