G7: Adopted G7-DPA Roundtable 2022 Communiqué promoting Data Free Flow with Trust (DFFT)

On 8 September 2022, the data protection and privacy authorities of the G7 countries issued a communiqué announcing future policy cooperation covering regulatory and technological issues related to the concept and further development of Data Free Flow with Trust (DFFT). The meeting also discussed the prospects for "international data spaces", which can be seen as a trustworthy and voluntary exchange of data between organisations and sectors at the national or international level.
