On 1 September 2022, Thailand's Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) adopted a number of Regulations regarding the advertising of digital assets. In particular, the Regulations state that the advertisements of digital assets cannot include false information and have to list the risks associated with investments in digital assets. The Regulations enter into force on force from 1 September 2022, but businesses with advertisements published before this date will have until 1 October 2022 to make earlier posts compliant with the Regulations.
