Indonesia: Bilateral Agreement announced to enhance cybersecurity and telecommunications

On 19 August 2022, the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia announced that Malaysia and Indonesia have initiated plans for a partnership to enhance collaboration regarding cybersecurity and telecommunications regulation and innovation in both countries. The Ministry noted that following the rapid technological changes occurring in the digital markets and in the interest of national security, both countries have committed to improve international relationships in those policy areas.
