Description

New label "cloud de confiance" ("trusted cloud")

As part of its National Cloud Strategy, the French government announced a new "cloud de confiance" ("trusted cloud") label. The label shall be awarded to services of high technical security and in "legal security". The technical standard is based on the so-called SecNumCloud certificate from the French information systems security agency (ANSSI). To obtain the label, the cloud solution shall: (i) comply with the 'SecNumClouc' security requirements; (ii) locate its cloud infrastructures in Europe; and (iii) be commercially and operationally offered by a European entity, owned by European actors.
