Description

Digitisation of French government services via national or certified cloud providers

As part of its National Cloud Strategy, the French government announced that it would digitise governmental projects and services with a stronger reliance on cloud infrastructure. The digital services of the administration will be hosted either on governmental cloud infrastructure or by private providers who meet strict security criteria. In cases involving French personal or corporate data, the service must be hosted in the government cloud or a private service certified with the new "cloud de confiance" ("trusted cloud") label.
