Spain: Implementation of royal decree enhances employment rights of digital platform workers

The Royal Decree-Law 9/2021 amending the Worker`s Statute Act goes into force. The Decree changes the relationship between digital platforms and delivery workers. The Decree determines that the enumerated delivery of products sold via a digital platform constitutes an employment relationship with the owner of that platform.
