Chile: Implemented Decree 6 on the Regulation on Electronic Commerce including consumer protection in online commercial activities

On 23 September 2021, Decree No. 6, which approves the Regulation on Electronic Commerce, was implemented. Title 2 of the Decree regulates the right to truthful and timely information about the goods and services offered, their price, the terms of the contract and other relevant information. These provisions also apply to consumers engaged in online commercial activities.
