The U.S. president signs the Executive Order on Improving the Nation's Cybersecurity, aiming to protect federal government networks following a cybersecurity incident. It aims to remove barriers to threat information sharing between the government and private sector, modernize and implement more robust cybersecurity standards in the government, improve software supply chain security, improve detection, investigation and remediation of cybersecurity incidents in government and create a standard playbook for cyber incident response.
