Consultation opened on ICO three-year plan including plan to analyse AI bias in recruitment

On 14 July 2022, the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) opened a consultation on its three-year plan ICO25, including a plan to analyse the impact of AI bias in recruitment systems, until 22 September 2022. The ICO intends to focus on the impact of AI systems on minorities who are not represented in the training and testing datasets used to design the AI, such as neurodiverse people and ethnic minorities.
