Anatel closed consultation on harmonisation of chargers input in mobile phones
On 26 August 2022, the National Telecommunication Agency (Anatel) closed the public consultation on the harmonisation of chargers input in mobile phones (45/2022). Based on the European Union's decision to harmonise electronic device chargers to the USB-C standard, the Brazilian authority intends to impose this type of connector as a standard for all mobile phones and chargers.
