Introduced Bill 4399-D-2020 on Regulation of online digital intermediation services for the defense of competition and consumers

On 25 August 2022, Bill 4399-D-2020 on the Regulation of online digital intermediation services for the defence of competition and consumers was introduced in the Chamber of Deputies of Argentina. The Bill would require digital intermediation services not to charge differentiated tariffs for identical services and arbitrarily limit or block users' or suppliers' access to the platform. Moreover, the Bill would require the ranking systems to be applied transparent manner and based on objective criteria.
