On 25 May 2021, the Attorney General of the District of Columbia (DCAG) filed a lawsuit against Amazon.com and its "Fair Pricing Policy", claiming that the online retailer violated antitrust rules by pressuring third-party sellers to set lower prices for their items on Amazon than elsewhere.
