Consultation opened on Privacy Agreement Requirements for Information Security Technology Internet Platforms and Products and Services

On 26 May 2022, the National Information Security Standardisation Technical Committee of China (TC260) opened a consultation on the draft Privacy Agreement Requirements for Information Security Technology Internet Platforms and Products and Services. The draft aims to lay out the requirements applicable to privacy agreements between providers of internet platforms, products, and services, and users. The draft includes relevant definitions and requires privacy policies to clearly set out the way in which personal information is processed. The consultation will close on 25 July 2022.
