Austria: DSB Guidelines on Cookies and Data Protection published

On 25 May 2022, the Datenschutzbehörde (DSB), Austria's data protection authority, published a set of guidelines on best practices for the use of cookies on websites. The guidelines provide information on the legal framework for the use of cookies under European and Austrian law, as well as specific advice on when cookie banners are required and the design standards that should be met by such banners.
