House Bill 969 (Consumer Data Privacy) is passed by the Florida House of Representatives on 29 April 2021. The bill introduces the requirement of consumer notification for data collection and selling and the right for consumers to data access, deletion and rectification. Moreover, the bill allows consumers to opt-out of sales and sharing of personal data.
