UK National Cyber Security Centre issues guidance on actions to take in response to a higher level of cyber security threats

On 17 January 2022, National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) published guidance on the actions that organizations must take in case the level of cyber threat is raised. The guidance outlines the steps an entity may take in response to cyber threats, and notes the factors affecting an organisation’s cyber risk and strategies to decrease the vulnerability to cyber threats. Furthermore, the guidance includes additional options for large organizations, including taking a more aggressive approach to patching security vulnerabilities and delaying any significant system changes.
