On 17 March 2022, the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) opened a consultation on the draft of the Artificial Intelligence Risk Management Framework (AI RMF), which builds on the Concept Paper released earlier this year. The AI RMF aims to improve the ability to incorporate trustworthiness considerations into the design, development, use, and assessment of AI products, services, and systems through voluntary adoption. NIST aims to release the complete AI RMF by the beginning of 2023.
