Signed Australia-Singapore FinTech Bridge Agreement

On 13 April 2022, the Treasury of Australia and the Singapore Monetary Authority jointly announced the signing of the Australia-Singapore FinTech Bridge Agreement. Under the agreement, both sides pledge to strengthen bilateral collaboration on FinTech, including joint innovation projects and the support for the mutual establishment of FinTech in the respective markets. The FinTech Bridge Agreement is intended to build on the framework for cooperation established in the 2020 Australia-Singapore Digital Economy Agreement.
