China: Adopted order to support the service secto including reductions in food delivery platform fees

On 18 February 2022, the Chinese National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) announced an order including several measures intended to support the service sector. Point number twelve in the order outlines that digital food delivery platforms must reduce the service fees they charge restaurants. Furthermore, the NDRC requires special reductions in areas with higher rates of Covid-19 infections. The order does not specify the required percentages of the reductions.
