UK Government issues the Digital, Data and Technology Playbook

On 28 March 2022, the United Kingdom issued the Digital, Data and Technology (DDT) Playbook, outlining its strategies and policy reforms that will take place to improve the government approach to service procurement. The DDT Playbook includes the market’s expertise to improve the services that the government is providing. Furthermore, the government aims to take an outcome-based approach in its assessment, procurement and management of products and services. In its DDT Playbook, the government intends to implement eleven policy reforms, including issuing commercial pipelines, applying cyber security assessments to its projects, and using open and interoperable data and code.
