Amendment to Indiana Data Breach Notification Law (House Bill 1351) signed

On 18 March 2022, an amendment to the Indiana Data Breach Notification Law is signed by the Indiana Governor. The amendment stipulates that data breaches need to be communicated to the affected parties and the local Attorney General forty-five days after the fact at the latest. The Law will enter into force on 1 July 2022.
