US and Turkey announce agreement on transition from existing Turkish digital services tax to OECD-G20 Inclusive Framework

On 22 November 2021, the United States Department of the Treasury announced that it reached an agreement with Turkiye on the transition from the existing Turkish Digital Services Tax to the OECD/G20 Inclusive Framework which both states joined on 8 October 2021. Moreover, the Treasury Department stated that the US will stop implementing the trade measures adopted in response to the Turkish Digital Services Tax.
