Adopted BSI warning regarding Kaspersky anti-virus software

On 15 March 2022, the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) published a warning regarding the anti-virus software products of Russian company Kaspersky Lab. The BSI emphasises that Russian military actions threaten the EU, NATO and Germany and that Russian IT providers such as Kaspersky could either collaborate with offensive operations or be subject to spying. Therefore, companies and organisations using Kaspersky products may be more vulnerable to cyber-attacks. Therefore, the BSI recommends replacing the anti-virus applications provided by Kaspersky with alternative products.
