Italy: Adopted CSIRT alert on cybersecurity of national digital infrastructures

On 14 February 2022, the Italian Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) published an alert on cybersecurity measures to protect national digital infrastructures from potential cyberthreats arising from international tensions in Ukraine. CSIRT emphasises that, despite the absence of supporting evidence, ICT infrastructures significantly interconnected with the Ukrainian cyberspace may suffer increased cyber risks as a collateral effect of the conflict. Therefore, CSIRT suggests a series of technical and organisational mitigation measures to raise the level of cybersecurity.
