On 10 April 2026, the European Commission published Jeuxvideo's hate speech moderation report under the code of conduct on countering illegal hate speech online. The report focuses on user-generated content on Jeuxvideo's public forums, which attract around 7 million unique visitors per month, predominantly from France. Jeuxvideo's moderation framework relies entirely on a team of eight French-speaking human moderators, who reviewed 100% of reports within 24 hours and achieved a median processing time of eight minutes, resulting in 34,008 hateful messages removed and 798 of 1,506 appeals upheld. It was stated that no Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools are used for hate speech detection, and civil society organisations, including SOS Racisme, have access to a dedicated reporting channel, with serious cases referred to French authorities.
