United States and North Macedonia announced Framework for Agreement on Reciprocal, Fair, and Balanced Trade regarding customs duties on electronic transmissions

On 12 February 2026, the United States and North Macedonia agreed to a Framework for the United States-North Macedonia Agreement on Reciprocal, Fair, and Balanced Trade. As part of the digital trade commitments within the framework, North Macedonia committed to support the adoption of a permanent moratorium on customs duties on electronic transmissions at the World Trade Organisation (WTO).
