Guatemala: Guatemala and United States adopted Agreement on Reciprocal Trade including cybersecurity regulation

On 30 January 2026, the governments of Guatemala and the United States signed the Guatemala-United States Agreement on Reciprocal Trade. Article 3.2 of the Agreement mandates that Guatemala shall collaborate with the United States to address cybersecurity challenges. This cooperation is part of a broader framework to facilitate digital trade.
