Cyberspace Administration announced first batch of registrations for government mobile internet applications

On 3 March 2026, the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) announced the completion of the first batch of registrations for government mobile internet applications under the measures for the standardised management of government mobile internet applications. The measures require government agencies and sponsoring units to complete mandatory filing procedures before any mobile applications are launched. Under these measures, the framework prohibits authorities from requiring users to download or use government applications that have not successfully completed the filing process. The initial batch consists of 52 registered applications, encompassing both national and regional government service platforms, including the National Government Service Platform, the People’s Court Mediation Platform, Digital Industry and Information Technology, the Beijing Government Service Platform, the Tianjin Government Service Platform, Zhejiang Government DingTalk, and the Fujian Government Service Platform.
