European Union: European Commission opened consultation on draft guidance on the application of Regulation (EU) 2024/2847 (Cyber Resilience Act)

On 3 March 2026, the European Commission opened a consultation on draft guidance concerning the application of Regulation (EU) 2024/2847 (Cyber Resilience Act), until 31 March 2026. The draft guidance clarifies how the Regulation should be interpreted and implemented in practice. It aims to support manufacturers, developers, and other stakeholders in understanding their obligations and to promote a consistent approach across the European Union.
