Brazil: Brazil Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation and Ministry of Science and ICT of South Korea signed memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of science and technology

On 23 February 2026, the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation of Brazil and the Ministry of Science and Information and Communications Technology of the Republic of Korea signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in science and technology. The memorandum of understanding sets out a framework for cooperation on ecosystem recovery, biotechnology, digital transition, advanced mobile communications, the Internet of Things, aerospace, and science education. The memorandum of understanding also includes provisions on the protection of intellectual property in accordance with applicable national laws and international agreements, with jointly created intellectual property to be governed by a separate arrangement.
