National Cybersecurity Standardisation Technical Committee opened consultation on draft revised national standard Trusted Computing Specification Trusted Support Platform for Server

On 11 February 2026, the National Cybersecurity Standardisation Technical Committee (TC260) opened a public consultation, until 12 April 2026, on the draft revised national standard GB/T 36639, titled Cybersecurity — Trusted Computing Specification — Trusted Support Platform for Server. The draft revises GB/T 36639-2018 and introduces updated provisions covering the trusted support platform for server, physical root of trust, virtual root of trust, virtual trusted component, trusted basic component, manager for virtual root of trust (OMM), virtual root of trust for measurement, out-of-band management module, virtual machine monitor (VMM), trusted migration component, and trusted software base (TSB). The draft updates abbreviations including graphics processing unit (GPU), network interface card (NIC), and read only memory (ROM), and adds new requirements relating to the out-of-band management module read only memory (OMM ROM). Referenced normative standards include GB/T 29829-2022, GB/T 40650-2021, GM/T 0012, GM/T 0058, and ISO/IEC 27071:2023.
