Announced Codes of Practice for online platforms

The Ministry of Communications and Information of Singapore announced that new Codes of Practice will be developed to set baseline standards for "relevant online platforms". Guidelines will cover child safety, minimising children's exposure to harmful content; user reporting, requiring reporting mechanisms and responsive action by platforms; and platform accountability, obliging online platforms to disclose the measures taken to limit harmful content.
