Submitted EU Commission proposal for a Directive on Combatting Violence against Women and Domestic Violence

On 8 March 2022, the EU Commission published a proposal on Combatting Violence against Women and Domestic Violence. The aim of this proposal is to strengthen the avenues for criminalisation of these offences, avenues for victim support, and prevention efforts. The proposal also addresses violence against women in the digital space ("cyber violence"), such as cyberbullying, stalking, and harassment.
